Sometimes all you want is to add a bit of edible magic to your wedding day. What better way to do that, than with the mouthwatering strawberries dipped in Belgian chocolate from Myfruitylicious, based in Morganstown Cardiff. We caught up with Fiona at the busy fruity kitchen to ask some equally fruity questions.
PAB Events: Fiona, what is the best advice you can give a potential customer?
Myfruitylicious: It’s always lovely to surprise wedding guests with something different. A great option is a decadent chocolate strawberry display to wow evening guests or to accompany their fizz for the welcome drinks. You could also think about a juicy fruity display with strawberry Bride and Groom favours. We can cater for all tastes for a modern day twist on the traditional wedding cake. Brides can also be creative with the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom gifts. Why settle for flowers when they can be given a mouthwatering edible bouquet?
PAB Events: What are the main type of products you supply?
Myfruitylicious: We have 2 main categories of products: fresh fruit bouquets and chocolate dipped strawberries.
We specialise in creating handcrafted edible bouquets filled to the brim with yummy fresh fruit. All our fruit is cut, prepared and sculpted into flowery shapes and then arranged into flower arrangements.
PAB Events: Tell us 2 great things about the service you provide?
Myfruitylicious: We can do better than that! Here’s 4 great things about our service!
We use only the best quality fruit
Only the finest Belgian chocolate
We store our fruit in our squeaky clean kitchen until absolutely ripe and perfect to eat.
We don’t add any pesky preservatives or E numbers to our arrangement so they are completely wholesome and natural
PAB Events: What is your price range?
Myfruitylicious: Our prices are extremely competitive. The chocolate strawberry bride and groom favours are £1.50 each (minimum order 40) and the chocolate strawberry towers range from £50-£200. Table centre pieces are from £20.
PAB Events: Is there anything else you would love potential brides to know?
Myfruitylicious: We know that when it comes to a wedding day, nothing but perfection makes the cut.
Every one of our bride and grooms have very specific ideas and requests and we pride ourselves on offering a fully bespoke service to each and every one of them. We can even tint the chocolate to match the colour scheme of the wedding. From healthy fruit medleys to naughty but nice chocolate dipped strawberries, we make healthy eating a joyful and fun experience.
We are conveniently located in Morganstown, Cardiff and offer local collection or delivery.
Other than your wedding ring, the jewellery you choose to wear on your wedding day can transform the way you look and be the ‘icing on the cake’ to complete your outfit.
PAB Events have been chatting to Purrfect Sparkles owner, Kat, who creates bespoke pieces of jewellery for your special day.
PAB Events: Kat, what is the best advice you can give a potential customer?
Purrfect Sparkles: My best advice would be to pick a style or theme for your wedding and tailor everything around that. That way we can make pieces to stand out but still match your style.
PAB Events: Tell us 2 great things about the service you provide
Purrfect Sparkles:Firstly, I’m able to create jewellery from a diverse type of gemstone, from the simple drop pearl pendant on a sterling silver chain (with matching earrings), to an individual pearl linked chain necklace and bracelet set.
Secondly, I will be able to create something bespoke for a bride on her day, that no-one else will have. It’s unique to her wedding and her outfit.
PAB Events: What is your price range?
Purrfect Sparkles: Prices range from £6.00 for simple bridesmaids bracelets, to sets from £20 – £40.00 depending on the style and pearl/bead selection.
PAB Events: What are your special offers for 2015?
Purrfect Sparkles: Special offers for 2015 are bride’s and 4 bridesmaids jewellery for £120.00.
I also have a range of wine glass charms that are perfect for the top table and also could be used as wedding favours.
If you are planning your wedding I cannot stress enough the importance of planning a smooth hand over to someone you trust. But before you even get to that stage you need to create a wedding day itinerary so that your representative understands exactly what she needs to manage.
At the very least the itinerary should include the following:
The name and contact details of all your suppliers
Arrival times for set up
Any special instructions regarding where and how to set up
With many brides opting to ‘do it themselves’, I have found that wedding day co-ordination or wedding day set up services is proving more and more popular. Full details of these services from PAB Events can be found here
I often get asked, what is the biggest problem I have to deal with when planning a wedding. The general perception is that it is stressful, especially when planning a wedding that is not your own.
In some ways this is probably true, but in my 10 years of working with brides to create their special day, I have learnt some extremely solid tricks of the trade! This makes my job a lot easier and certainly stress free.
One thing that saddens me the most is the mistakes that I see brides making over and over again, especially the ones who have decided to ‘go it alone’. Unfortunately it is often too late to rectify the mistakes before it has a negative effect on the wedding day.
This is why I have created my absolutely free download entitled ‘The 7 Biggest Mistakes That Can Ruin Your Wedding Day’.
If you are engaged and planning your wedding, here’s what you will find out:
The first thing that often gets forgotten
How to choose the RIGHT supplier at the RIGHT price
How to avoid last minute headaches
The key to enjoying your wedding day experience
No matter what stage of your planning you are at, I am sure will agree that it’s better to know about these potential mistakes now, than to look back at your day with regrets.

Like any other party, engagement party ideas can be as lavish or as simple as you want it to be. In my opinion there is no need to over complicate things, whatever the party occasion. The priority for your guests is to celebrate with you. Throw in a sprinkling of good food and good music and you are pretty much on to a winner.
The important thing to remember is to enjoy yourself; this is the road that leads to your fabulous new life together!

Most of us have heard of referral programmes, rewards, commissions and such like. Basically it means that a company gives away something free in return for you using their service or introducing someone else to their service.
Well there was something about those names that we didn’t quite like, especially as PAB Events is all about having fun and helping people to create fabulous weddings and events.
So we went ahead and decided that we were going to create something a little different. We wanted to to inject a bit of a buzz and give you lots of opportunity to collect some great rewards.
Therefore we are very proud to announce THE SHOUT OUT CLUB! It is absolutely free to join and you can find out all about it by clicking here.
Looking forward to welcoming you to our club.
